One of the initial projects we took up in the year was the launch of the iOS app for our esteemed client – Marina Home. As a premium furniture retailer, the client wanted to deliver their customers with a seamless yet visually rich browsing experience. To bring this vision to life, we built the app using Apple’s native iOS framework with Swift, adhering to Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. This approach helped facilitate the exceptional user experience and updation of new features without disrupting existing ones!
We further had the pleasure of collaborating with Marina Home Interiors to create a cutting-edge Progressive Web App (PWA) built on Magneto. The PWA combines the best of web and mobile applications, providing users fast loading times, offline capabilities, and an-app like experience directly through their browsers. We’re proud to have been part of Marina Home’s digital journey.
Last year, we had the opportunity to work with OOKA, an innovative AEM project that required enhancing their digital presence with a seamless and dynamic experience. By leveraging AEM’s capabilities we delivered a high-performance, content-rich platform.
During the course, we also had the exciting opportunity to work with Homes R Us on launching their iOS mobile app for Qatar. From regional selection and bilingual support (English and Arabic) to Click and Collect and flexible payment options (including Apple Pay and Tabby), this app was all about making home shopping convenient. It was a proud collaboration with Homes R Us, helping them expand their digital footprint.
Reebok Saudi Arabia was another client we had the privilege of working with during the past year. Our collaboration focused on designing a new platform tailored for Saudi Arabia. It was an exciting project for us as we delivered Arabic Language Support, Shipa Express For Next Day Delivery and seamless WMS integration to create a smooth and localized shopping experience.
A Year Of Wins and Recognitions!
2024 has been a year of milestones for Codilar, filled with awards, achievements and industry recognition. We were honored with the B2B Champ Award at Meet Magento India 2024, recognizing our excellence in B2B commerce solutions for our work with TGR Ventures, while we also earned the eCommerce Excellence Award at Meet Magento New York for the same project.
Strengthening our foothold in the industry, Codilar became Adobe Commerce Specialized in the APAC region, reinforcing our expertise in delivering top-tier Adobe Commerce solutions.
Our team also achieved significant milestones in certifications – Venugopal C earned the prestigious Adobe Certified Master – Architect certification while our Shopify experts, Vikas Verma, Mohammed Aamir, Sagar Sajeev, and Prachi Srivastava, secured Shopify Certifications, showcasing our continued commitment to excellence in Shopify development. Additionally, Sanoop achieved the Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Commerce Developer Certification and Codilar’s AEM ( Adobe Experience Manager) Certification further solidified our expertise in enterprise content management. That’s not all! Codilar also earned its ISO Certification, a testament to our commitment to quality and excellence.
Connections, Insights and Growth: Codilar at Industry Events 2024
For us, 2024 was an incredible year of networking, learning, and collaboration, as we actively participated in some of the biggest industry events. Each event gave us valuable insights, strengthened our partnerships, and allowed us to showcase our digital commerce expertise.
We kicked off the year at ICS 2024 with fulfillmenttools, exploring the future of eCommerce solutions. March took us to the Adobe Summit 2024 in Las Vegas, where we delved into the latest Adobe Commerce and customer experience management. This was followed by Seamless Middle East 2024 where we connected with several eCommerce innovators and experts. We had the privilege to host the AEM Magento Meetup 2024, diving into Adobe Experience Manager’s integration with Magento.
With our webinar, “The Future Of Retail: Emerging Trends v And The Role Of Technology”, we shared insights on how businesses can stay-ahead in an evolving retail landscape. We also co-hosted Retail Re:Mix Dubai Edition with Fynd and Tanla , where we had industry leaders come together to explore new strategies for next-gen eCommerce. At BigBox UAE, we participated as Gold Sponsors, reinforcing our commitment to innovation. Gitex Expand North Star 2024 was another global event that gave us the opportunity to discuss generative AI, commerce, and digital transformations. We wrapped up the year at Seamless Saudi Arabia with Fynd, engaging with leaders shaping eCommerce in the region.

It was a remarkable year for Codilar as we forged several new partnerships with some of the most influential names in the industry. A key highlight was Codilar- Akinon Signature ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting partnership to drive headless commerce innovations. We also proudly announced new partnerships with Tata Communications, Stripe, CC Avenue, Commercetools, Wattlecorp, and Data Droves, each bringing unique expertise to enhance our service offerings.
In another major milestone, Codilar became an official Shopify Partner, further solidifying our position as a leading Shopify development agency. Our collaborations with Freshworks, ChannelEngine, Tabby, and Unicommerce further strengthened our omnichannel and customer experience capabilities.
