It’s a February fiesta at Codilar Technologies! Brimming with pure joy and excitement peeping through our eyes, we reveal yet another remarkable milestone. 

We are the proud winners of the B2B Champ Award at Meet Magento India 2024. This is not just a win; but another luminous jewel to our crown of accomplishments. 

For we have every reason to celebrate as we have been honored at one of the most coveted eCommerce conferences. And, what makes it more special is we received it right here in India, within the embrace of our roots. 

Achieving this milestone shows our dedication to implementing strategic approaches and innovative solutions that played a key role in driving TGR’s eCommerce growth. Yet again, positioning ourselves as trendsetters within the eCommerce industry.

But, before we get into the details, we need to give a heartfelt round of applause to our synergetic TGR project team, we couldn’t have done it without them. Their unique skills, expertise and collaborative spirit, turned every challenge into opportunities. 

Meet Magento India 2024

The Meet Magento conferences is one of the biggest eCommerce events held across countries every year, drawing merchants, service providers, eCommerce agencies and developers from every corner of the world. And this year, as fate would have it, the Meet Magento conference returned to our homeland, India, after five long years, on February 10th, 2024, hosting over 1000 delegates to its vibrant hall. It was more than an event, a salad bowl of ideas buzzing with innovation .

We owe immense gratitude to the organizers, for they have hosted such a wonderful event, offering a platform where eminent thought leaders shared insights, budding talents found their voice and we received recognition for our efforts. 

About TGR

Tiger-One Distribution (TGR) is a pioneer in the world of cannabis. With a stellar reputation across the EMEA and North American regions, TGR isn’t just a player, they’re game-changers rewriting the quality of premium cannabis cultivation products and services. 

In an industry brimming with choices, TGR leads the charge as the ultimate destination for global cannabis cultivators and their allied enterprises, setting a new standard for excellence and ingenuity.

Operating through an expansive network of offices and warehouses, TGR caters to both retail and wholesale customers via dedicated B2C and B2B eCommerce platforms. And they’re not stopping there – multiple brands, distinct websites, and a touch of magic make TGR the heartbeat of cannabis commerce.

But here’s the real kicker,

In navigating the dynamic cannabis market, TGR faced a variety of challenges in managing their B2B and B2C brands across 9 countries, spanning 6 languages and managing 11 currencies. Besides, a prior transition from Magento 1 to Magento 2, with minimal modifications, added to the complexities. This situation made restructuring imperative to keep essential data and functionalities intact.

TGR faced critical brand inconsistencies due to the complexity in handling extensive data volumes, resulting in fragmented global commerce, customer confusion, performance issues, higher operational costs, and security risks. Moreover, transitioning from a custom B2B setup to an Enterprise B2B model, all while handling both B2B and B2C operations within a unified Adobe Commerce instance appeared to be quite a challenge.

Now, the question is,

What Made Codilar the B2B Champs?

To tackle the complex challenges of fragmented global commerce and brand inconsistencies, our team of Adobe certified experts strategically adopted the high-performance PWA-ready architecture of Adobe Commerce (Magento Enterprise 2.4). 

We leveraged Adobe Commerce’s high-performance master-slave architecture, go-to-market GraphQL APIs and seamlessly integrated it with Adobe and third-party SAAS solutions, facilitating consolidation of 10 brand websites that spanned 9 countries, supporting 6 languages and 11 currencies.

This strategic implementation along with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions enabled TGR to achieve global commerce mastery, headless commerce excellence, and efficient database optimization, perfectly aligning with TGR’s scalability requirements.

Further, to maintain brand uniqueness, we implemented superfast PWA by using the extensive PWA headless architecture of ScandiPWA, while completely redefining the UI/UX. This innovative solution allowed TGR to create separate frontends for each brand, all while functioning seamlessly with a single Magento backend. Also, its native-app like feature ensured consistency in content delivery in both desktop and mobile devices, reducing bounce rates and enhancing overall user experience. 

In addition, we incorporated some impressive integrations like Amasty, Bablic, Prerender.io, Insider, Odoo, Tefpay and more, further adding on to the already enhanced capabilities of TGR’s Adobe Commerce website.
